When we began our journey with Shelly our office was profitable and we already had many good systems in place. Our main goals were to improve our production and learn some new communication skills to apply with each other. We interviewed several consultants before deciding to hire Shelly and found that many of them have a “one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter” approach to their training programs. When we interviewed Shelly we knew she was the right person to coach us to achieve the greater success that we desired.
Before coming to our office, Shelly spent time getting to know Dr. Erickson to find out his goals for our practice. She also interviewed each team member individually to ask us from our perspective what was working and what areas we could improve upon. We were blown away by Shelly’s ability to listen to each of us and then tailor our coaching sessions to address our specific issues. She always gives us countless gems that we can apply immediately; which has resulted in increased production, productivity, and improved communication and relationships between our team members and patients.
I can’t say enough good things about Shelly and the successful results that we have achieved since we started our journey with her. One thing that I must say is that before Shelly came for our first coaching session the entire staff was a little apprehensive with the underlying fear of, “Am I going to get singled out for negative behavior or participating in ‘drama’ with other staff members?” Everyone’s fears were put to rest after Shelly’s first coaching session. Her communication and presentation styles are truly the best I’ve ever seen. She has a way of addressing issues so that no one was singled out or felt “in the hot seat”. She gave us communication tools that have improved our relationships with one another. We now have a cohesive team that recognizes and values each individual member and the role we play in achieving our overall success.
Shelly has a true gift and I believe I can speak for our entire team when I say that hiring her was one of the best decisions we ever made. The results speak for themselves as we are achieving greater success in every area of our practice.
